Custom wardrobes
Made to measure in our own Al Quoz workshop and installed floor to ceiling by the same team: hinged, sliding and handleless systems, interiors planned around what you own, and the AC, lighting and humidity details that decide whether a wardrobe still closes properly in five summers’ time.
Most wardrobes sold as fitted in Dubai are standard-width modules lined up along a wall, with a filler strip at each end and a dust shelf on top. They are quick to sell from a showroom and quick to install, and they look exactly like that. A genuinely fitted wardrobe starts from a site survey, is drawn for the exact opening, and is scribed to the slab, the walls and the bulkhead so there is nothing left to fill.
We design and make wardrobes in our own workshop in Al Quoz Industrial First, as a standalone package or as part of a bedroom or whole-villa fit out. The same survey picks up the things a catalogue cannot: the AC diffuser that will blow cold air across a lacquered door, the socket you need inside for a steamer, the curtain track the end panel has to clear.
Wardrobe types
The door system is decided by the room, not by preference alone. A hinged door needs clear swing; a sliding door needs clear run; a walk-in needs a room of its own.

Full access to the interior and the widest choice of finish. Needs clear swing in front, so we check the bed position and the door of the room first.

Top-hung systems with anti-jump devices for rooms where a hinged door would hit the bed. Soft-close at both ends, with mirror, glass or panelled fronts.

Routed grip profiles or push-to-open latches, so a wardrobe run reads as a panelled wall. Fluted and slatted fronts are made in the same workshop as our wall panelling.

Open systems, islands and glass-fronted display for master suites. Covered on its own page, with the ventilation and lighting a closed dressing room needs.

Wardrobes made as one set with headboards, nightstands, dressing tables and window-seat storage, so the finishes match across the room.

Linen presses, luggage lofts above the wardrobe run and utility cupboards in the same system and finish, planned from the survey rather than squeezed in later.
How it is made
Five stages, all on one site in Al Quoz. You approve a drawing and a sample before anything is cut, so what is installed is what you signed.
Book a surveyWe measure the opening at several heights, because walls in Dubai villas are rarely plumb and ceilings rarely level. We record the position of AC diffusers and returns, sockets, light switches, curtain tracks and the door swing of the room. A wardrobe drawn from the architect’s plan rather than the room is the usual reason a run arrives short.
Elevations and sections showing every carcass, door, drawer box, rail and shelf. The interior is planned around what you actually own: long-hang for abayas and dresses, double-hang for shirts, drawers for folded items, shoe racks sized to the collection, a lit section for display. We ask, and we draw it.
Door finish, carcass colour, handle or push-to-open system, and lighting are agreed against physical samples, not a rendering. Where the wardrobe sits in a bedroom we are also fitting out, the sample is checked against the headboard and the panelling so the room reads as one.
Panels are cut and edged in our workshop, doors are sprayed or veneered in our own finishing area, drawer boxes are assembled and every unit is dry-assembled with its hardware before it leaves. Moisture-resistant board is used where the room or the wall demands it.
Our own installers level the carcasses, fix them to the structure, scribe the end panels and the top infill to the room, adjust every door on its three-axis hinges and commission the lighting. Snags are closed by the team that made the wardrobe.

Specification & cost
We price wardrobes line by line from the shop drawing after a survey, so you see the cost of each decision. These are the ones that move it.
Laminate is the hardest wearing and the most economical. Sprayed PU lacquer gives a seamless painted front in any colour. Natural veneer, book-matched across doors, is the most expensive and the one that changes the room most. We often mix: veneer where the eye lands, laminate inside.
Hinged doors need more hinges and more adjustment but cost less in hardware than a quality top-hung sliding system with soft-close and anti-jump. Handleless fronts add machining time for the grip profile.
Drawers with soft-close runners, pull-out rails, trouser pulls, jewellery trays and lit shelving each add hardware. A wardrobe that is mostly hanging rail is far simpler than one that is mostly drawers.
Moisture-resistant MDF on external walls and in rooms adjoining bathrooms, standard board where it will stay dry, and 2mm ABS edging with PUR adhesive throughout so edges do not lift. We tell you which board goes where.
Sensor-switched LED profiles in hanging sections and shelving, with the driver housed where it stays serviceable. Wired at first fix where the room is being renovated, or surface-wired from an existing socket where it is not.
Out-of-square walls, a bulkhead to scribe around, an AC diffuser that must be relocated, or a tower with service-lift booking and working-hour limits all add time. We see them at survey and include them in the quotation rather than as a variation.
Send a photograph of the wall and a rough width, or book a visit. We will measure, draw the interior around what you own and come back with a priced drawing you can compare.
Common questions
Cost, door types, humidity, AC and what happens in a managed tower. If yours is not here, call +971 50 448 3095.
It depends on the door finish, the door system and how much of the interior is drawers and fittings rather than hanging rail, far more than on width alone. A laminate hinged wardrobe with a simple interior sits at one end; a book-matched veneer run with sliding doors, drawers throughout and integrated lighting at the other. We survey, draw and price line by line so you can see each decision and adjust.
Hinged doors give full access to the interior and the widest finish choice, but need clear floor space in front to swing. Sliding doors suit narrow rooms and walls facing the bed, but you only ever see half the wardrobe at once and the track needs a level floor. We recommend based on the room, not on a default.
Not if it is specified and installed for it. We use moisture-resistant board on external walls and next to bathrooms, seal all edges with 2mm ABS edging, leave the carcass off the wall with a ventilation gap where condensation is a risk, and position the run away from AC diffusers that would blow cold, damp air across lacquered doors. The failures you see come from standard board, thin edging and wardrobes pushed hard against an external wall.
Yes, and the survey exists to find them. A diffuser inside a wardrobe run is relocated or ducted around at first fix; a bulkhead is scribed to; a curtain track is cleared by the end panel. If the ceiling is not level, the top infill is cut to it. None of this is possible from a plan, which is why we measure on site.
Yes. Walk-in closets and dressing rooms have their own page, walk-in closets in Dubai, because the design questions are different: open systems, islands, ventilation and lighting in a room with no window.
Yes. Managed towers need the building NOC, a service-lift booking and working-hour compliance, and units have to be sized to fit the lift and the corridor turns. We hold registration with the major Dubai developers and arrange this as part of the job. See the Downtown Dubai and JVC pages for how tower logistics work.
Yes. A good share of our wardrobe work is supply-and-install for one bedroom or a whole villa where the rest of the interior is finished. We coordinate with your contractor or building management on access and sequencing.
Yes, and this is the main reason to have them made together. Veneer leaves and lacquer batches are allocated across the wardrobe, the headboard and any panelling at production so the grain and colour run through the room.
Yes. We deliver and install across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Recent work includes the wardrobes and bedroom joinery at The Dahlia in Abu Dhabi.
